Strange hands - Keiti Gray & Vasilis Tsitsanis
A simple premise; Keiti Gray, Vasili's Tsitsanis and band are jamming after hours in a club taverna; in the adjoining kitchen the heroine is washing dishes. As she washes and listens she gradually breaks down in tears. Not too much plot but, nevertheless, poignant.
From the movie "Orphan in a Strange Land".
It should be mentioned that Giorgos Koinousis is on the accordion and Evangelia Margaroni on the piano. I don't know who is playing drums, guitar and accordion. I think I've talked about Gray and Tsitsanis in previous posts, but they are well worth getting to know.
Nana Iliopoulou posted the following lyrics in the comment section below the video (translation by Google).
and drank the bitter orphan's tear
he knows what to say
to eat bread with pain
when you find yourself without a patron in life
Foreign hands are bitter and heavy
foreign hands are knives
And in my love my dreams
and these overthrew the wrath of fate
the one who promised me
how it will change my life
and he didn't have a soul in his chest
